I’m Ivy Summer, and I’m an MBA and certified wedding planner of The Bridal Society with 12+ years of experience working with budget-conscious couples. I've been living in Greece since the beginning of 2019, gaining experience in luxury, celebrity, and destination wedding planning and consulting couples from here to North America. I love to read, learn other languages (I speak Greek and a bit of French), and explore different countries! I am humbled by all the wedding professionals, jaw-dropping venue locations, off-the-beaten-path resorts, and local vendors I meet along the way.

While I was in San Francisco, I planned and coordinated the Guinness World Record attempt at Largest Public Wedding in 2015, introduced the annual Cannabis Wedding Expo to California in 2016, and launched America's first cannabis art museum tours and cannabis yacht tours from 2016 through 2018. By the winter of 2019, I launched an online wedding planning workshop for couples who want to plan their own wedding anywhere in the world with the resources, tools, and worldwide network of a pro.
By the end of 2019, I started interviewing dozens of couples about their experience planning their own wedding. Fortunately, those interviews gave me such great insight to share with other couples who are all about DIY and simultaneously confronted by the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. I translated the data from those interviews into case studies to share with couples like you. And by May 2020, I wrote and published the world’s first book about how to plan a wedding in a pandemic, Poise Over Panic.

Shortly thereafter, I became a founding member of Aisle Planner's Diversity & Inclusion Committee and a founding business member of the National Society of Black Wedding & Event Professionals.
